This was built by daryl Schroeder. After a lot of back and forthing, this arrangement seemed to have come out of nowhere and solved a lot of fitment issues. Brian and I brainstormed for about an hour, and this was the positive result.....

New Ham gear.

Since my last post I got on the air with HF, and I have done so with a vengeance. Anyhow, check out the little station, with a longwire dipole outside and a hamstick dipole on a pole outside, with

W2DU balun on both.

The second picture is of a Yaesu FT-736R, the cadillac of Sattelite transceivers. I just finished installing the tone board (will test tomorrow), and am using a J-pole - but the rig requires separate UHF and VHF inputs, so ... ?? Enjoy!
