Object inside my tire:

Driving from PDX up to Puyallup to an annual meeting, with razor thin margins on Sat. Mar. 9th was pressed further by a flat tire just as I passed Moss Lake on the right of the freeway.  There were a number of cars pulled over, so I think several struck the debris. Anyhow I drove to Puyallup and back home on the spare, and got up early and went to Costco to repair/replace it (replaced it!).  There was a LARGE tear in the middle of a fairly new tire, and inside as we rolled the tire into the repair station, we could hear something rattling. When the new tire was put on and I picked it up, I picked up the debris they recovered from inside the tire.

What is puzzling is how such a large object overcame air pressure and centrifugal force to get INSIDE the tire.
