Long time no postie!  Anyhow check out the ATRC tach and (right now termparily a copy of a) Smiths speedo.  Finallyall sorted out! HOWEVER! Note that I originally had (sigh, yes a copy of) a tach on the right side. Sorted out now!  The previous rubber isolated mount for the ATRC was a different style, requiring some interface plates and it hit the side of the fork mount seen below the tach.  Now this one, although lower, and you'd think more causing interference, does not! It all works now.
