Beautiful 1960s Ford Falcon Van.

One nice evening in July, there was a party up the hill. A guest had their Falcon van parked on my side of the street, so I took the opportunity to photograph it. 1960s Ford Econoline vans are rare; the same vintage Ford Falcon van (a stretch version of the Econoline distinguished by the V-shaped window behind the front doors) are much rarer ; examples like this are very few indeed.

Enjoy!

Hi Jeff, I know this is an old post, but I figured I'd comment anyway. Great photos of this Falcon Club Wagon. Looks great and I love the color. Seeing this one is like going back fifty years. Well, almost. Dad bought a '65 Deluxe Club Wagon in May of '67. It was silver blue and had all available options except for automatic transmission, thank God. It became mine during my HS junior year in 1972. So, that makes me kinda old. It wasn't sporty or sexy, but my car-less friends sure did like it. Sometimes, we'd just cruise around, going different places on a whim. One of the girls named it "The Club". I must confess that I stole the photo you took from the left rear for my own use, only. Might use it as a screen saver. I hope you don't mind. If you do, let me know and I'll delete it. Today, I own a '72 VW Westfalia. It's a blast to drive, but not as warm inside as that old Club Wagon. Thanks for posting this one. It's a treat to see. John
